A Message Regarding Coronavirus
Mar 23, 2020
It’s amazing how quickly things can change, isn’t it? Last year at this time we were talking about skincare tips for spring break and this year we’re all dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
At this time, we are open and still seeing patients until further notice. Your safety and the safety of our staff is our priority.
Due to public health concerns, we ask that you do not visit our office if you believe that you have been exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19) within the past 2 weeks, if you have traveled within the past 2 weeks, or if you are immunocompromised.
Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Headache
- Body aches
- Cough
- Fever
- Chills
- Shortness of breath
Please reschedule your appointment by calling our office at 952-469-5033. We will do our best to accommodate re-scheduled appointments. If you are concerned about your symptoms, please call your primary care provider.
For more information on prevention, symptoms, and what to do if you are feeling sick, please call the Minnesota Department of health COVID-19 hotline at 651-201-3920.
The World Health Organization has given tips on how to protect yourself and others from the coronavirus. Some of these tips include:
1) Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. If you don’t have access to soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand rub.
2) Social distancing, social distancing, social distancing. Stay home and stay safe. But if you need to be in public, stay at least 3 feet away from people if possible.
3) Don’t touch your face, especially your eyes and nose.
4) Take respiratory hygiene seriously. If you need to cough or sneeze, do it into your elbow.
5) Stay home and see a doctor if you’re feeling symptoms such as fever and difficulty breathing.
